Hey, I’m Ellie!

A little about me…

I’ve navigated the world as a yogi, a dancer, and a woman in a mid-sized body for as long as I can remember. I’ve always struggled with the idea that I don’t look like a dancer or a yogi.

By stepping into the teaching space, I hope to show others that a yogi doesn’t need to look a certain way. All bodies are yoga bodies.

I’m passionate about creating welcoming and accessible classes for all levels and body types. Just like choreographing dances, I love to plan creative transitions and sequences around music and a good beat.

In my classes, expect to find a mix of vinyasa/flow style paired with mobility, functional movements, and skill development.

You’ll never hear me say “the full expression of the pose” - there is only your expression of the pose. In my classes, we take our time: we try new things, and we don’t shy away from props. I love incorporating blocks, a yoga strap, bolsters, the wall, and whatever else we have into class in meaningful and new ways.

When I’m not on my mat, you can find me falling off my paddleboard, boxing at The Rig, asking to say hello to the nearest dog, drinking Starbucks and browsing the aisles at Homesense, or watching Survivor on the couch with my two cats Merry and Pippin.
